• Green Island Cement (GIC)’s OPC is manufactured using clinker which is mainly produced by the Company’s fully integrated manufacturing facility in our Tap Shek Kok plant (Hong Kong).
• 青洲英坭的水泥採用的熟料，主要由本公司位於屯門踏石角廠房的綜合製造設施生產。
• GIC’s OPC features high compressive strength, user friendly application and low alkali content. It is capable of providing additional protection to concrete from Alkali-Aggregate Reaction (AAR). It is used in all general concrete construction as well as mass and reinforced concrete and is extensively used in various projects in the government and private sectors.
• 青洲英坭的水泥具有高抗壓強度、易於使用和低鹼含量的特點。它能夠為混凝土提供額外的保護，使其免受鹼骨料反應的影響。它用於所有一般混凝土結構以及大體積混凝土和鋼筋混凝土，並廣泛用於政府和私營機構的各種項目中。

Production Information產品介紹

• Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) is a by-product of steelmaking. After finish-grinding, the glassy non-crystalline structure of calcium-aluminate silicates gives GGBS a similar strength performance with typical cement.
• 礦渣粉是煉鋼的副產品。經過碾磨後，鋁酸鈣矽酸鹽的玻璃狀非晶體結構，使礦渣粉具有與典型水泥相似的強度性能。
• Substituting OPC and PFA by fine grinded GGBS in concrete, it improves the long-term strength, lowers the heat of hydration, improves chemical resistance from chemical attacks and greatly reduce the carbon footprint of concrete.
• 在混凝土中用細磨礦渣粉用以替代水泥和粉煤灰，提高長期強度，減慢初凝溫度上升，提高耐化學侵蝕性，並大大減少混凝土的碳足跡。
• The general replacement of OPC/PFA by GGBS ranges from 35% to 75% subjected to various project requirement.

Production Information產品介紹

• PFA is a fine powder of mainly spherical glass particles with pozzolanic properties. It has been widely used in Hong Kong for decades to substitute cement usage in concrete to improve its performance. Green Island Cement Company Limited is importing multiple sources of fuel ash not just from the local power plants in Hong Kong but also from Japan and Mainland China. In this way, we provide stable and good quality Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) by mixing and blending to mitigate the variation in properties.
• 粉煤灰是一種主要由球形玻璃顆粒組成的細粉末，具有火山灰性質。幾十年來，它已在香港廣泛使用以替代混凝土中的水泥用量，以改善其性能。青洲英坭除處理從香港兩間發電廠經燃煤而產生的煤灰外，還從日本和中國大陸進口。通過混合和攪拌來提供穩定和優質的粉煤灰，以減輕性能的變化。
